NDIS Plan Management involves the management of NDIS support funds on behalf of a funded NDIS participant. Clients may need financial assistance purchasing the varied support identified in their NDIS plan as well as keeping track of all the funded items. Clients may also choose to use an approved Plan Manager to help build their self-management capabilities.
ILSA is an approved NDIS Plan Management Provider. As an approved Plan Manager we are responsible for receiving and managing any funding provided by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), and acquitting any funding provided. The activities that ILSA undertake is this regard include:
ILSA has a registered bookkeeper who provides this financial intermediary assistance on behalf of NDIS approved clients. Plan Management is also undertaken independently of the lifestyle support that we offer.
ILSA gained many years’ prior experience hosting the support funds of clients receiving Your Life Your Choice funding through the Queensland Department of Communities, Disability Services and Seniors. When we became a registered NDIS service provider several of our clients asked us to continue to undertake a financial intermediary support role so they could continue to attain their support goals.
We go through great lengths to ensure that the Plan Management service we offer to clients is transparent and free from any conflict of interest, perceived or otherwise. Our NDIS Business Practices Policy ensures that we run our Plan Manager support service with careful supervision and only at the express wishes of our clients themselves.
