ILSA provides support to a wide range of client groups, some of whom have diverse and complex and ever changing needs. Whilst our day to day lifestyle support assists people with daily living and social and community participation, we have established particular support expertise across several program areas. These include:
Mobile Attendant Care - flexible and responsive drop-in support. Supporting clients with critical tasks packaged as small blocks of time efficient support.
Psychosocial Support – holistic client centred support. Supporting clients living with mental illness to build capacity and engage with a variety of critical stakeholder support groups.
Supported Independent Living – coordinated shared support. Supporting two or more clients to consider individual support needs as well as the circumstances of their shared tenancy relationship.
Support Training and Mentoring – support staff enhancement and development. Supporting staff to develop specific skills which enhance their capabilities and effectiveness as an attendant care provider.
NDIS Plan Management – financial management of NDIS support funds. Supporting client’s to build financial capabilities so that they can take greater control over their support budgeting.
Small Equipment Grants – donations for specific support aids and equipment. Supporting people with disability and the frail aged who are financial marginalised and can’t access equipment funding and / or can’t afford critical equipment on their own.
